Welcome, Andrew!

Since distance is no problem, come over and gymkhana with us on Saturday, September 23!

We don't do it like the Japanese do, but we do have a good time.  And we all end up better riders.

Do you guys ride the cones in Dallas?

I'll try to put up some pics after next Saturday's fun.

We are glad to have you!

How many riders do you have at your events?  They look fantastic.

Maybe 150 bikes. Some of them are with 2nd numbers))

I'm about to make you famous again on our Facebook page.
I had to laugh when you said it didn't bother you to have so many riders on the courses at the same time because Moscow traffic is very stressful.  Is that because it is crowded?  Or because everyone drives fast?  Or because drivers ignore the rules?

Is it warm there now?

Here is a video from Apr. 30 .

You can see that we have no trouble with riders running into each other because road traffic in Moscow is very stressful.

Yes, every fifth Gymkhana rider is a lady.

Kris, where are your photos?

Our pictures were on, which crashed and we didn't have a backup.  So we lost almost everything we had up from our past gymkhanas.  I have trouble getting our members to remember to go onto this site and post pictures.  We haven't had but maybe one gymkhana event since we rebuilt the site and started over.;topicseen

Above is the link to the June 10th event we are planning.   I trust there will be plenty of pictures from that event.  They won't be as good as yours because WE are not as good as you guys are.  Most of us are out of practice.  And I won't be any better, because I have to ride to a meeting that day in another part of the state.  : (

How many riders do you have at your events?  They look fantastic.  I can't see the video link because my workstation says the site isn't secure.  I will try to look at it tonight when I get home.

I am so happy that you post on this website!!  Keep doing what you are doing!

Welcome, Flywalker!

Post videos!

We are not doing as much as we could be, here in Birmingham, but we DO have one June 10.   I won't be able to be there, but I'll ask them to take as many videos as they can, so that I can post them here.  We haven't had one for a couple of years, so everyone is going to be rusty.  We won't be killing it like they do in Japan and Russia, but everyone has to start somewhere.  What we lack in skill, we make up for in enthusiasm.  : )

Welcome, Huddy!

We are having one in Falkville, Alabama on June 10.  Are you interested in riding down?;topicseen

I'm going to have to miss this one, unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict.  It's killing me to miss it.

Stay in touch!  I have lots of course layouts I could send you, and there are lots on this website too.  Happy cone killing!

General Discussion / Re: What motorcycle do you ride?
« on: May 26, 2017, 09:13:08 AM »
I have my engine guards now, and just need some time to practice.  We have a gymkhana scheduled for June 10, but I have an ABATE meeting that day!  ARG

ABATE = American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.  It's the state's Motorcycle Rights Organization.  I am the Secretary/Treasurer, so I can't miss a meeting.

Of all days!!!

Excellent swag!  And you put so many bikes on the lot at one time... do you ever have trouble with riders running into each other?  And women!  You have lady riders!

If I sent you some money, could I get some of the Fuck Therapy stickers, and some of the BMW ones?  I ride a 2011 F800R.   You could PM me your address.... can you use dollars, or do I need to do a currency conversion?  (If you even sell them.)

I wish you guys could come here and show us how it's done!  Do you know Duncan MacKillop?  Look for him on Facebook, if you don't.

We are having a full gymkhana, including a stopping time test, on June 10, but I have a conflict and cannot attend.  I hope it goes half as well as yours.

Thanks again for the GREAT pictures.

Yay, Johnny!  Thanks for the post!!

That post pretty much says it all.  Post up if you have questions.

And wouldn't you know, I have an ABATE meeting at Guntersville State Park that day, so I can't come.

But it's gonna be great!

Course Maps / Re: Honda Gymkhana 2012 Polish Tracks
« on: May 03, 2017, 10:22:14 AM »
Hi, in this topic I am going to put some course maps from Polish Honda Gymkhana competition (season 2012). Here is the first one, from the first round:

Where did they go????

And these guys either deleted their membership, or I accidentally did.  Guys, come back!!  I got a little heavy handed one day, deleting members who weren't really members.  I apologize, if you are one of our stalwarts, that accidentally got deleted.

Hi everyone,

We are Marketing Masters students from the UK and we need some help from the US riders.
We are currently looking to research the US motorcycle accessory industry. It would be great if you could help us filling out our short survey.

The link is provided below.

Thank you in advance :) :)

I did your survey AND I posted the link to this thread on, a forum I spend a lot of time on.
I figure you have already posted it on

I may post it up on the BMW F800 Forum I am a member of, as well.
Good luck!

I have a new to me 2011 BMW F800R.  I am scared shitless to gymkhana on it, but I'm going to just have to hold my breath and jump in.  It will  probably be way easier than the Suzuki 500GS, but it's so much prettier and newer and more expensive!

Introduce yourself / Re: Greetings from Portland Oregon

I hope you find some people to gymkhana with in Portland!  One day, I want to visit there.  Right now, I'm tied down with the care of my Dad, and Don, the founder of this site, is off discovering the world in a fitted-out school bus, so visits to this site have dropped way off.  But not to zero!  You guys are going to have to carry the load for a while, until we can get our legs back underneath us.

Keep me posted!

If we were a tenth as energetic and cool as you are, we'd have a thousand people at our next gymkhana.  And the photo quality in your posts is OUTSTANDING.  Thank you for contributing!!

Ride on!

Moe!  Please sign up again!  I accidentally deleted your username is a big sweep of spam bot deletions.

This board has gone pretty quiet since Don Redman, the founder, decided to sell his house and buy a school bus and go live on it all over the place in the U.S.  He was our organizer and was the impetus behind most of the gymkhanas we organized.

I am busy taking care of my dad, who has dementia, so I don't have the time to do it either.

I'm not sure why the other chapters dropped off, except that it's been winter in most places.

Please come back!  I promise I will not delete you again.  I sure didn't mean to.
